Injured And Marriage Proposal

We have been married for like decades but I can still remember and keep on smiling when I remember how my husband proposed to me and gave me my engagement ring.

We were in our fourth year in college when we chose that wonderful 2.0 ct emerald pave set engagement ring with matching band and have it customized. We might have chosen the ring but still, I don’t have any idea when the stone will be ready.

It was one afternoon when Pete was wearing this huge band-aid on his hands. He said he get it while he was cutting mangoes and the fruit slipped out of his hand. He was complaining about his injury and wanted me to look at it. I was a bit afraid to look at it. I started to carefully peel off the bandage when then I saw the diamond engagement ring that we chose. I smiled and hugged him thinking of how unique his plan is on how to give me the engagement ring and on how he asked me to marry him.
