Cookie Proposal

It had been months now since me and my beau had been planning to get married. We already have it set; we even picked the wedding ring together. No proposal is therefore expected since we both know that we are indeed getting married.
We had our engagement ring customized to make it even more special so we still have to wait until it’s ready. I don’t even have a clue when the ring would be finish. We have the ring set in pave and we also picked out the nicest diamond that is nearly 2 carats, we chose our ring to be vintage looking and the wedding band for him we made it simply yet elegant by setting some round cut diamonds on the shank. Also we have our names engraved on it.
The ring itself is special enough and that the whole excitement of proposal is rapidly losing since we have no idea when the ring will be finished, also, we both know the fact that we are indeed settling down.
My loving husband to-be on the one hand did not allow that us acknowledging the fact that we are indeed getting married hinder the thrill of the proposing for marriage.
We commonly make cookies or cheesecakes and carve letters in it to spell out sweet notes for each other. It is one of the nights that we bake cookies together, we were making dinner and Erwin asked me to get the cookies out of the oven and arrange it on the table. I opened the oven and to my surprise, there are these cookies that were carefully and beautifully arranged which spelled out: "will u marry me?” and the ring we had customized was stuck on the last cookie.
Though I already know that we are getting married that sweet little thing he did really surprised me!
