Her wedding, my proposal
Most of our friends describe us as a joyful couple. We always make them laugh with Mike’s joke followed by my sense of humor. Mike and I have been together as husband and wife for 2 years now, and our love for each other grows more and more each day. I could still remember how he said his proposal in front of a lot of people when we attended his sister’s wedding.
He was one of the best men, and he was sitting near the bride and the groom. As he was about to finish saying his speech, he uttered the words that I was not expecting he would say. He stood up, pulled out a black box out of his pocket, and exposed the 1.75 carat Marquise cut diamond engagement ring, “Will you marry me, Jia?” Those words made his whole family cry in joy as their favorite comedian propose to his future wife. “Thought that this would be the best opportunity for me to propose to you since this is also a wedding,” he mentioned as everybody giggled. “And I have always been trying to get the best time, but it seems that we both are busy entertaining these people and being a clown ourselves,” All laughed as they clapped their hands. I stood up, looked at Mike and said, “Only if you put that beautiful ring on my finger!” He smiled as he approached me and slipped the diamond ring on my finger. 8 months after, I found myself walking down the aisle.
