At The Strip
Las Vegas is probably on of the best entertaining place we’ve ever been to. Of course, aside from the entertainment we had in that place, that is also where my husband Tony proposed to me. And I was probably the happiest lady on earth that day!
We were on our way to Bellagio Hotel that night to celebrate our 9th anniversary together. Both of us were wearing formal attire because we wanted that night to be extra special for us (and that was Tony’s idea all set for his proposal).
It was just a simple proposal that he did. After dinner, we went out to watch the Fountains of Bellagio.
It was breathtaking, elegant and powerful that made that night very impressing to me. The two of us were just standing at the center talking about how the place is so beautiful. Finally, the show began. I noticed that the song playing was our favorite song even before we both met.
He then said: “Can you feel it?” “Feel what? The sprinkles of water splashing in my face? Yes.”
I replied with confusion. “No,” he said, “The feeling of bliss” he continued. “Every since I met you Linda, I have always felt contented, and can never ask for more. So if you’d answer me with a YES to the question that I am going to ask you, I will be the happiest man on earth.” My hands were sweating as he held it and slipped a diamond ring in it. “Marry me Linda, and I am willing to give you happiness more than what we have right now.” With no hesitation, I answered Tony with a big YES.
